Deir Mar Elisha in Qadisha Valley is one of its most important monasteries. Hewn out of the rock face, its centre piece is a vaulted 19th-century church. Took this wide shot for my mother praying inside the church showing the natural rock ceiling. Really blown away with how old this place is.
