String of Pearls
Milions of candles and oil wick lamps were lit to commemorate Guru Ramdas, the Sikh Guru's birthday in Amritsar, India. The entire Golden Temple complex glistened in the golden light that surrounded this beautiful temple.
Your Shot photographer Marc Henauer commented "The beauty created by man, here and elsewhere in the world. The Golden Temple in the city of Amritsar in India is an architectural feat. The illuminations by the candles of these men and women who gather to celebrate give birth to a magical spectacle. Luminous!"
