The water lilies of Lake Sebu
You will be able to find the water lilies of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, in their full glory shortly after sunrise. It is said that they only bloom for a few hours during this time. Local myths and scientific facts have provided various explanations for this phenomenon. Whatever the reason behind it though, I am certain of one thing: catching an early morning boat ride to witness it happen was nothing short of magical.
