This photo is full of the people I love in the place that I love. I was watching as my husband quietly gave the baby a sink bath in the bathroom, while our oldest spent the few moments he was unsupervised tearing his room apart. As I watched the two different scenes unfold, I realized that with my 35mm lens, I could capture both at once - the calm and the chaos. This very much describes our sons' personalities as well; our baby is relaxed, and our oldest is crazy.

I agree with Your Shot photographer Toni Minchev who commented, "Wonderful daily life scene, Emmy! Great decision to capture these two moments in one single frame. The light is beautiful and the candid expressions on all faces are precious! You were even able to capture opposite color tones of warm and cold perfectly matching the mood of the two everyday segments. Love it!"
