It took me two months after documenting my father's death to finally be able to come back to my love. I felt like my camera & I saw too much, but it was this photo that reminded me of a childlike curiosity that drew me to the field, in the first place. I have spent days upon days on the other side of life's fence - looking through a bubble to the rest of the world. The sun hits my face, but I have stayed in the shadows. This is my first post, returning to YourShot. I am scared, but I am home.
