Life and death, this wonderful family stands together at the grave of their father and grandfather. The empty chairs in this struck me as much as the four of them standing looking down and saying goodbye.. the life and death, being present and being gone... don't wait until someone is gone to tell them how you feel!!

I love Your Shot photographer Sukanya De’s comment: “Allison, I applaud your sensitivity and thoughtfulness in weaving such a poignant representation of 'Opposites'!! What an incredibly powerful blend of the opposing emotions of life and death, portrayed in one frame. From the empty array of chairs to the loving family standing together in this delicate juncture of time, every element speaks of, presence and absence, beginnings and ends, pain and peace, and of uncertain realities of life!!"
