When the waterfalls of Shivanasamudra came alive after a decade, thanks to incessant rains in the catchment areas of the Cauvery and the Kabini in Karnataka, thousands of people from far and near thronged the place to catch the monsoon splendor. The roaring waterfalls on one side and the jubilant people who were cheering on the other side seemed like two competitors struggling to win.
