This old guy is actually quite well known around Algonquin park, but he was getting on in years and I wanted to photograph him one last time before I left the park. He was very candid and didn't seem to mind me much as he layed in a warm patch of moss and scratched his ear. I was worried about him, as he seemed like he might not make it through the winter, but I have heard that he is now living in a wildlife sanctuary and doing well.
