Preening. A specialty of birds all over the word. Doing a little research I found that they have a preening gland, uropygial gland that is an essential part of preening. They use the oily substance from this gland to clean themselves. Realigning all the feathers and getting all the dirt and parasites off of them. It is fascinating to watch them. The care and dedication they take to keep themselves neat and tidy.
