    Reported by:

Five Little Auks form a circle to keep watch over their colony. This raised vantage point allows them to spot the approach of ground predators such as the Arctic Fox. The remaining members of the colony are flying a pattern above the colony protecting it from Glaucous Gulls and buzzing anything that moves toward their nests. These little birds lay a single blue egg in nests built within the crevices of the scree, making it difficult for the predators to reach.
