I was photographing a colorful Scarlet Macaw, when a second bird suddenly swooped in to dislodge the first one. I was not sure what prompted the skirmish, but I luckily took my shot just then to get this action image. Flying in full bore, the attacking bird displayed its full plumage showcasing its colorful beauty from head to tip. Interestingly, while the top of the Scarlet Macaw is multi-colored, the underside is mostly one color (red). Copan, Honduras. (HDR Image)
