Black Vultures at Fakahatchee Strand
While the bright white egrets and the pink spoonbills may get all the attention, the Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus) is beautiful in his own way with its jet black body and grey head the Black Vulture makes a beautiful addition to our landscape. Usually seen on roadsides eating carrion, these giants were grouped around a lake enjoying the cool breeze at Fakahatchee Strand State Park in South Florida.
