Cyclone slab
This particular wave was one of the two that cleanly broke on the reef this morning. Cyclone swell here most of the time swings around the west coast of Reunion island so fast that the window to get this kind of shot with the good swell direction and no wind is really short. I missed the first one and get this one 30 minutes later just before the big storm hit the coast and messed the place. I like the fact we really can feel the raw energy of the deep ocean loading and hitting the lava ledge.
