“Everything comes with an expiry date”, someone had once aptly observed. Driving through the great steppes of Mongolia, one can spot rusty old machines – cars, trucks and buses – that were once young and used for ferrying nomads and locals in the frigid conditions. Abandoned by their drivers, these iron skeletons have become an intrinsic part of the harsh landscapes. The aged vehicles now find their homes under the open skies – dying and crumbling slowly with time. That’s the law of Nature!
