On the island where I live, this is one of the basic structures you can come across on nearly every non-touristic beach. It is a stone tower that indicates happiness and well-being. The people that build these beautiful towers are usually the locals who are enjoying the time before and after the summer season without tourists. They sunbathe on the beach for a while and occasionally you'll see them building these towers. Even though they are so common, a photo with this backdrop was necessary.
