Autumn, locally known as Harud, is a harvesting season in Kashmir. In this season Kashmir valley changes its colour from green to several colours such as: yellow, golden, orange and red. People, mostly tourists from India as well as abroad, believe autumn in Kashmir is “different,” from the rests of the world adding, “Nature itself illuminates Kashmir.”
