In ancient Japan, butterflies are said to be messengers of the dead. And lycoris radiata is said to be flower of the dead. Both of them have thin body. They are elegant. And they seem to be fragile. Butterflies emerge from chrysalises. That's like release from life. When I retouched this photo, I imagined a boundary between life and death.
