Flash was the main technique I included in this photo to draw one’s eye towards the boy and not the light of the sun visible in the horizon. The underlying theme is the emotion of the boy. It was carnival week in Aldeburgh and he seems joyful and free as he runs towards the sea, forgetting all his worries.
