When I was little I thought sun streaks like these were God hiding behind the clouds, showing you a little of his glory. As I got older and I learned about the physics of light, I realized it wasn't. People say that science "ruins" the wonder you have in the world, but to me it only enhances it. Look at the beautiful imagery a little accumulation of water vapor and a star that's several million miles away can accomplish completely by accident.
