Lake Abrau
Abrau is the largest freshwater lake in the Krasnodar Territory, located in the south-west of the region on the low-mountainous Abrau Peninsula, 14 km from Novorossiysk. On the shore of the lake is located the village of Abrau. As part of Russia, the active agricultural and recreational development of its shores began in 1872. Monument of nature since 1979.
The greatest depth of the lake is about 11 meters, with an average depth of 5.8 meters. The lake area is 0.6 km², the catchment area is 20.
