I have to admit, despite having several photographs of Kingfishers, I am excited every time I spot one. This one however, was utterly unexpected. I was at Jodhpur during one of my photo trips, when I had taken some time off to enjoy some quiet time besides the lake. Suddenly this little thing comes right around and parks itself by this tree. I knew I had the shot that very moment.
