In this part of the Genesee County Parks system, they've had a limited deer hunt from Nov. 1-8 (bow). I'm always curious as I get shots of deer here during the year how many may survive. Here is one, taken after our first good snow of 2018-19. Two others followed this one across this small meadow. However, we are in the throes of gun season and there is still risk as this one traverses land outside of the park.
