During our visit to this particular Mursi village, we spent almost 3hrs right after sunset interacting with the tribe and taking some of the most amazing pictures ever. At a small respite, as I was walking among the huts, I caught sight of this youngster, sitting just inside the hut, almost completely immobile, gazing at me with such incredible intensity. Even when I showed my camera - asking for permission - he didn't blink. And yes, the muddy knees were worth it!
