Sands of time
The Bong's Sandworks near Dalheim left a big hole in the fluvial deposits of the Meuse river. Now only this silage railfront is standing and an old locomotive-shed. Because of the abundance of gravel and sand everything was constructed out of concrete of course.Now nature is reclaiming the sandpits.
