Steaming cold pot of tea_2
Anyone fancy a steaming cold pot of tea? Although you might expect this steam being created by hot water, it is actually a cold steam created by combining dry ice and water. Also, when the dry ice turns from solid to gas, the CO2 gas is heavier than oxygen and the steam will fall. This is opposite to steam from hot water rising. This was a fun experiment that I did with my daughter in learning about opposites in science.
