Even though I took this Robin's photo in November I have always loved the shadows and light created while sitting in a tree in my backyard. I couldn't resist submitting it for this assignment. Robins have many predators--snakes, hawks and cats. Squirrels, blue jays, crows, and ravens eat Robin eggs and chicks. I love their beautiful bright breasts and enjoy watching them during the long winter months when all other birds have gone south.
