Santa arrived bearing gifts at the annual Christmas party for the children of our small town's volunteer firefighters. This is the last year for my oldest son to receive a gift at the party. By next year he will be 12 and will have graduated to helping cook hot dogs in the kitchen while the little ones get presents.
