It was a beautiful day when we decided to hike down from Mount Rigi to Rigi Kaltbad. There is nothing like the natural beauty of the Swiss Alps enjoyed on foot. As is often the case in Switzerland the weather changed abruptly. The clear day gave way to building clouds and rain we could see off in the distance. As we approached Kanzeli point above Lake Lucerne the war between the sun and the clouds had created a beautiful scene for us to enjoy.
