After a long overnight train ride, finally arriving in the western-chinese Lanzhou in the early morning: the exhausting journey was rewarded with an authentic Lanzhou-style street-food breakfast, which is a rich sandwich made from pancakes and a selection of vegetarian fillings. Muslim culture and food is quite present in this city and one of many good reasons to explore this rather little-known area of China.
