While grizzlies are technically carnivores, they actually eat an omnivorous diet; enriching their main meat staples with foraged berries, roots, and other plant material. This is Blondie, one of the famous grizzlies in Grand Teton National Park, she was foraging on fresh green shoots along the roadside, while her two rambunctious cubs played. In this shot she briefly lifted her head, assessing the nearby photographers and park rangers, before resuming her snack.
