the light on cemetery road
I think because the road wraps around Evergreen Cemetery someone decided to name it Cemetery Road. At 5 or 6 in the morning the road is quiet, so it's gentle curves, rises and falls, makes for a beautiful ride. Sandwiched between the Illinois River to the south, and the historic I & M Canal to the north, the trees and landscape transforms with the time of the day, the seasons, and the light. On this ride I just had to stop as I saw the light coming towards me on Cemetery Road.
