A small church in a tiny village in the mountains of New Mexico outside of Santa Fe. There are no more than 20 households around but the people of the village clearly love and cherish the church and the statue. It was a peaceful Sunday afternoon. The service had ended. It was very quiet - a perfect moment for contemplation. I like how the light is illuminating the statue of the Virgin Mary, while the background is in a shadow. I also like how the building lines are pointing to her.
