I was wandering around the city of Ubud looking to capture some content of Indonesia’s vibrant culture. I became a little discouraged by the heavy tourist foot traffic near the Saraswati Temple and out of desperation to escape, I turned down an empty alley. Slowly the concrete under my steps turned to loose dirt, and the urban walls began to fade, revealing lush open fields. There wasn’t a person in sight; just me and a lonely bike.
