Danielle (Junctional EB) suffers from blistering and wounds in her respiratory system. It makes her voice hoarse and she gets frequent infections. This inhaler contains medicine that eases her mucous membranes and battles the infection. As young as she is, she points at it when she needs it. This photo is part of my personal project INGEWIKKELD, dedicated to my son Dennis who suffered from EB and passed away in 2016 at the age of 22.
