    Supplement intake is essential in this day and age. We sit indoors from early morning till after the sun goes down and catch no sunlight. We can't drink a pitcher of milk in order to fulfil our calcium needs of a day. The body needs calcium to build and maintain strong bones. Your heart, muscles and nerves also need calcium to function properly. Calcium, along with vitamin D, may have benefits beyond bone health: perhaps protecting against cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure.
