    I watched as a small bird flew and landed on the neck of a giraffe. As it was perched on the giraffe, it began pecking at the giraffe's neck, searching for food. In this way, the giraffe provided food for the bird, while the bird cleaned the giraffe of pests. This mutualistic relationship is a fantastic example of care for oneself and others.
