Baby Caiman, Lurking
A baby caiman shyly hides under a plant at the edge of a river in Tortuguero National Park, Costa Rica. Unlike a fully grown caiman, it’s snout is not yet fully elongated and it’s teeth aren’t visible in it’s jaw yet. I still kept my hands out of the water though... just in case.
