We are approaching Winter Solstice and finally saw some sun on this day. The sun behind me here gave this pond in the Genesee County Parks an interesting, almost surreal, look. In Spring, Summer, and Fall, one would find ducks, geese, and perhaps a heron here. But, they're all gone now for the winter.
