The trabucco is an old fishing machine typical of the coast of Abruzzo region (known as "Costa dei trabocchi"). The italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio wrote like this: "Protected by the rocks, like a lurking monster, with its hundred limbs, the trabocco had a formidable appearance"
