Cold Moon Rising
It was a blustery evening in Rocky Mountain National Park. I was finishing up photographing a herd of elk when I turned and saw the full cold moon rising over McGregor Mountain. Apparently it’s only happened 10 times since 1793, so this was literally a once in a lifetime capture. It won’t happen again until 2094.
