Easter celebration in Greece.
On Easter's Saturday night thousands of people flock to nearby churches with their candles to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
At 00.00 as the day changes, the priest announces Christ's revival, passing the holy light (or flame) to the people around him. Each person then lights the candle of the one next to him and the result is a sea of candle fires that is mesmerizing to watch.
Fireworks then light the night sky with hugs and kisses following between family and friends.
