Edit Photo Details Stranded Pup   #greysealpup
We came across this lovely Grey Seal Pup, estimated to be about 6 weeks old. We suspect it had been washed inland by a big storm the previous evening and was a long way from the water. We contacted the marine conservation team and they came out and checked it's temperature, weighed it, and re hydrated it. It was deemed by the experts to be well enough to fend for itself and so they carried it to a bay close to the waters edge. Pubs are weened at 3 weeks, and left to fend for themselves.
