    Every year, my husband and I hike to witness the first sunrise of the year. To welcome 2019, we climbed to the top of the Lanikai Pillboxes on Oahu, which overlook the Mokulua Islands. Together with some friends, we quietly said aloha to this new season ahead. The photo was taken on my Nikon D750 with a 50mm 1.4 lens.
