    Edit Photo Details When the lake dries up   #fishermen #dry_season #global_warming #fisher_boat #climate_change #protectthesealands
Lake Manyara in Tanzania known from its National Park with hundreds of birds and wildlife, also provides food and work to many locals. During the dry season the lake’s shallow east side will dry up much faster than the side of the National Park. In recent years this process is even faster and dry periods seem to be prolonged. The fishermen you see here left there boat behind and ‘fished’ the semi dry spots by pulling their nets through the mud.
