We came across the Eastside of lake Manyara in Tanzania. The Westside is known from its National Park with hundreds of birds and wildlife. The Eastside is normally supposed to be a local but vibrant fishing location. Due to a severe dry season the fishing boats were, however, left abandoned and the dried-up lake looked horrible with left over debris and many plastic bags. The fishermen had moved with their tented homes following the protracting lake.
