Taken at the loneliest truck stop on earth. Near the Texas/Mexico border. Sometimes the most unexpected spots have the darkest skies. I checked the map and this area was as dark as Arches National Park in Utah. There's no milky way galactic core visible this time of year so I had to make due. Haven't seen much medium format Astrophotography so I figured I'd try it out. Can't wait for the summer so I can shoot the galactic core.
