This castle is known as the Gaine castle, located on Taki Road, West Bengal, India. Originally belonging to the Gaines of Dhanyakuria, this was later given to the British on lease to run an orphanage and subsequently to the Bengal government after Independence. However, recently, the building has been bought by the government but the condition of the building is sad with chunks not only inside the building but on the facade too crumbling down.
