Morning View of Mt. Pisgah
This shot was captured on the morning of July 16th, 2017, from the Blue Ridge Parkway facing west towards Asheville, North Carolina, with Mt. Pisgah, the tallest peak visible, rising in the distance. It had rained the night before, and the fog banks were still present by the time the sun was rising in the east behind me. Asheville lies below the fog banks. Sights like these are the reason why the Blue Ridge Mountains of WNC attract tourists from all over the world, mainly during spring to fall.
