Driving across Texas we stopped at the Pedernales Falls State Park. Usually this park is filled to capacity with people but on December 23rd it was empty. I was carrying a new Infrared converted camera and I didn't think there would be good Infrared that time of year. I was wrong and what a wonderful surprise. The unseen light of infrared brought out clinging of life in this drought to flooding instability of the rugged land and fragile environment... a rugged harmony of man and nature.
