Edit Photo Details Morgan Lewis Windmill in black and white
I took this picture of the Morgan Lewis Windmill for the purpose of painting it...I brightened it up a bit as it was late evening and the light was getting low. This is the largest, complete Windmill surviving in the Caribbean. Demonstrations are still done from December to April where visitors can see the process of producing delicious cane juice. It’s walls are made of rubble, held together with a mixture of egg-white and coral dust. It stands, statuesque, a beautiful symbol of our history.
